From the first flake of snow,
to the last melt in spring,
he is there to greet you,
and jingle cheer in.

His eyes they do twinkle.
He rolls with a tingle.
his bells, they do jingle
and his belly does ring.

He was appointed by Santa
to help sound the ride.
Each Christmas morning
instead of the rooster,
it’s his sound they hear,
calling the names of the eight sleepy deer.

He rings off their names,
and jingles with glee,
“Come now and join me,
now let’s start the fun.
Another holiday ride is upon us
and there’s still much to be done!”

“Wake up and get ready,
there is much still to do,
The saddles,
the lanterns,
the presents,
his sack,
quick,
faster and faster,
this is no time to slack. “

"Make haste and make merry,
there is no time to tarry.
They are counting us
to ring in the cheer,
another holiday is now finally here"!
