Have you heard of the Weihnachten Gurke?
It is one of the many traditions and legends of the tannenbaum. Said to be a German tradition, the pickle is the last ornament placed on the tree on Christmas eve. The first child to find the pickle receives a special gift and the first adult to spot the pickle legend has it is blessed with a year of good fortune. The tradition of the essigurke or the Dillbert as we call it here in JingleNog is pure pickle family fun.
