Friendly Freddie,
is a grinning green guy,
with strong thighs,
whose legs are long and feet are spry,
so when he leaps it’s to the sky.

Beetles and grasshoppers have no fear,
when Freddie is near,
for he prefers what is more bready,
nibbling on Brown Betty,
but this bloke,
also likes his artichokes.

Freddy is peppy,
and is always ready,
to leap off the nearest jetty,
or to take a dip in any eddy,
and to every gathering he brings confetti,
and as you may have guessed already,
he is as cuddly as a teddy.
